" Working Hard to Build a Cleaner Environment for America and the World - The Future is Now"

Many are being financially challenged over the price of gas and electricity. People in the world have intermittence electricity or no electricity at all.  We have the solution. The solution is solar and hydrogen (from water, fuel cells) combined to generate electricity and hydrogen 24/7. This energy can power your home, business or even power your vehicles. The sun is the primary sources of all energy even the energy that is found in fossil fuel.

Solar system consists of a myriad of wavelengths that can be used for energy. Sunlight (not the only energy to hit the earth) on the surface of Earth is attenuated by the Earth's atmosphere so less power arrives at the surface—closer to 1,000 watts per square meter in clear conditions when the Sun is near the zenith. This energy and others can be harnessed via a variety of natural and synthetic processes—photosynthesis by plants captures the energy of sunlight and converts it to chemical form (oxygen and reduced carbon compounds), while direct heating or electrical conversion by solar cells are used by solar power equipment to generate electricity or to do other useful work. The energy stored in petroleum and other fossil fuels was originally converted from sunlight by photosynthesis in the distant past.

The JIL-3000 uses 70 percent of the solar spectrum and the photosynthesis type process to take energy from the solar spectrum to combine and release energy has been stored in others materials for a high power product. This new technology is being combined with the latest development in fuel cell and hydrogen storage to produce clean, reliable, dependable electricity 24/7.

Fuels Cells OEM for DBK

While we will deploy whatever technology best to meets the needs of a particular project, the core technology for our planned product line of Regenerative Fuel Cell (RFC) systems is Proton Exchange Membrane, or PEM, technology. This technology uses a solid polymer membrane as the system electrolyte. This unique material works like battery acid but is inert and safe to touch. It functions to transport hydrogen ions or protons to enable either electrolysis or fuel cell reactions.

PEM Electrolysis Process

This animation depicts the charge, or electrolysis mode. This process splits water into hydrogen and oxygen and can produce hydrogen directly without mechanical compression. As shown here, water (H2O) enters the cell and is split at the surface of the membrane to form protons, electrons and gaseous oxygen. The gaseous oxygen leaves the cell while the protons move through the membrane under the influence of the applied electric field and electrons move through the external circuit. The protons and electrons combine at the opposite surface to form pure gaseous hydrogen.

PEM Fuel Cell Process

The fuel cell uses the reverse process. Here, hydrogen and oxygen (from the air) are applied to the cell. The hydrogen splits to release its electrons to the external circuit and provide power to the load. The protons move across the membrane, attracted by the oxygen potential, and combine with the oxygen to form water at the opposite electrode surface.

Our goal is to reduce your energy cost by 50%.

We are going to accomplish this through the following steps:

  1. Investigate available rebates and fill out the applicable forms for you (except tax forms).
  2. Provide and/or recommend low cost installation by a highly qualified contractor (if needed).
  3. Provide and/or recommend high quality equipment and peak performing solar panels (3,000 + watts panels).
  4. Develop a plan to reduce energy consumption by utilizing energy saving appliances.

What is your net cost to own a PV solar system? While factors vary from state to state and country to country, we can provide you with the following example for Southern California.

  1. This example reflects the worst case scenario - no conservation measures.
  2. The average 1800 square feet home (family of four) in Southern California uses approximately 960 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity per month.
  3. The sunshine factor for Southern California is approximately 7.5 hours per day. Multiply 7.5 x 30 days in a month equals 225.  960 kWh per months divided by 225 equal 4.3 -- the number of kilowatts required. Two DBK solar panels can generate over 4.3 kilowatts. The total cost for materials and installation is $20,000.
  4. State of California Solar Rebate of $2.2 per watt equals $9,460.00.

                                                                  Complete Turnkey Purchase        $20,000

                                                                       State of California Rebate       -9,460

   Federal Rebate                        -2,000

     Net Cost                    $8,540

Note: State will not refund above the cost of the system

  1. If you need a loan for the solar system, the interest is tax deductible in California and other States.
  2. When you eventually sell your home you can anticipate additional tax benefits due to the installation of solar systems.
  3. Most DBK's solar systems including installation cost can be recovered within a range 2-10 years.
  4. The average system life is 20+ years.
  5. The average time frame for free electricity is 13 years. Per this example, the average net profit if you sell your home prior to the 20+ year life span for the system is $40,000.
  6. DBK warranty is transferable to the new owner of the home.

How to Size a Grid-Connected Solar Electric System

The easiest way to size your solar electric system is to have a vendor come to your home and perform a site analysis and load assessment. Solar electric vendors have the experience and tools necessary to gather the data needed for the calculations. Most vendors will supply pre-designed package systems that range from one kilowatt (kW) for a small energy-efficient home up to 2.5 kW for a large home.

However, if you want to determine the size of the system yourself, the following two-step process will help you to estimate the number of solar panels (sometimes referred to as modules) required, the size of your inverter, and if desired, the size of batteries to buy for backup power. Remember, the goal of the sizing process is to yield a rough estimate of the number of kilowatts your solar electric system should generate. In short, you want to size your solar electric system to meet no more than your whole load on the sunniest day of the year, and rely on some grid power during winter or cloudy days.

Sizing your proposed solar electric system requires knowing the answers to the following questions:

1. What is your monthly electrical usage?

Your utility bills will show you how many kilowatt-hours of electricity you use on a monthly basis. (A kilowatt-hour is equivalent to 1,000 watt-hour). Your utility may be able to provide you with your home’s historical use. If you do not have your utility bills, you can calculate the watt-hour of each appliance you use, which is simply how many watts the appliance uses times the number of hours it runs in a day. If its wattage is not listed, check its amperage rating. Because amps x volts = watts, if your appliance runs at 2 amps, and your household current is at 120 volts (typical), then the appliance uses 240 watts. Total the wattage rating of each appliance and how many hours you plan use it to calculate your daily energy use. Remember that some of your appliances, such as your refrigerator, operate only part of every hour.

2. How much can you reduce your electrical use?

In residential settings, it is almost always less expensive to reduce energy use than it is to purchase more renewable energy generating capacity. As a general rule, for every $1 spent in conservation or energy efficiency, you could save $2 or more in solar electric system cost. For example, a new energy efficient refrigerator, which can cost $1,000, could reduce your energy consumption by 360 kilowatt-hours per year compared to the old model. The additional cost of a larger solar electric system to run your old model could be around $2,000. Thus, the newer model would save you $1,000 and use less energy.
